I refer to the requirement of registering construction agreement in Tamil Nadu.
I do understand from the official notification in the Tamilnadu registration dept site that all the components excluding UDS should form part of the value calculation.

Relevant portion of the circular

Hence, the construction cost includes all development costs other than the land cost such as cost towards construction. cost of parking. clubhouse facilities, charges towards EB and Water and Sewage connection and any other cost, charges .

I have been taking up on this with IG Regn, as the builder is including these taxes also in the computation of 1% stamp duty and 1% regn fee, which I feel is not correct.

I need help on below:-

1) Is my understanding that the ST and VAT should not attract 1% stamp duty and 1% regn fee is correct?
2) If so, how to get the clarification from competent authority to enforce this with the builder/sub-registrar

Please guide

dear experts I am a ca final student passed group 2 in last attempt after appearing in 5 attempt. in nov 16 i appeared for group 1 but my exam was not so good except law. I am working in an organization from last 2.5 year. Now i want to switch to other organization.now please guide i switch the organization now or i wait for result .after being Qualified in next attempt i search for a new job.thanks in advance.

insurance claim

I have issued a cheque to insurance company for premium 5 months back but they didn't represent it in the bank. i mailed them but there was no response from their side. now I need to claim it and when I got in touch with them regarding same they informed me that policy isn't issued to me. I wasn't updated earlier that insurance hasn't been issued to me. what shall I do now?

What to do now?

Hi all,

I cleared my CA final 1st group in May-16& wrote 2nd group in Nov-16.I completed my articleship in Oct-16.Campus placements will be held at the end of March,i have a gap of 4.5 months from now.I am not able to plan what to do in these 4.5 months.I am interested in joining industry after results.

Can you advise what to do in these 4.5 months to productively use this,so that this can help me in my job later.

Want to sell property at market rate.

Dear Sir, I want to sell my property at the market rate but the govt. value is half the value of market value. Now the buyer wants to pay Govt. value amount in check and rest in cash. Also as you are aware that demonetization has made 500/1000 rupees useless. how to go about it? Kindly advice.
