17 February 2026 To decide the useful life of your used commercial vehicles, start with the statutory 8-year limit and subtract the vehicle's current age. However, you must adjust this based on a technical valuation and regional environmental laws (like the 10/15-year scrappage rules).

18 February 2026 Dear Sir,

Thank you sir, but as per RC vehicle regd. in 2011 which is expired as per MV Act, normally as per company acts we consider 10 years as useful life for newly purchased vehicles but we want to know how to decide the used vehicles useful life.
