payment of professional charges to non resident having no PE or agent or associate in india is liable to TDS
I have submitted application for admission in ipcc on direct entry mode on 22/01/2014. but I have not received my registration letter from institute. can anybody tell me that how many days are required to get the registration no.
Dear experts, I want to file Nil TDS return for the first two quarters of F. Y 2013-14. Will any late filing fee u/s 234E be attracted towards it?
I am a practising CA in Indore, and around 2 months back suddenly few of my regular clients stopped using my services. Recently i found out that they have given their accounting and tax related work to a new firm in my locality, which is run by 5 guys, out of which 2 are just inter pass! And i am certain they are employed as partners there, and handle all the work relating to accounts, sales tax, excise etc. Also, i don't think those guys have enough knowledge to form an LLP partnership to do it the right way.
Is it allowed by the ICAI to form such partnership firms? What can i do to bring it to their notice?

I am a student of CA Final year and i have take the transfer from our firm on 02/01/2014 within 1 years.but I have joined the another CA Firm as on 29/01/2014 after doing GMCS (03/1/2014 to 18/01/2014).So Sir what are the consequence of this gap between 02/01/2014 to 28/01/2014.Is it extend my CA Final attempt.I shall be liable to furnished any document.Will it counted as my leave on my Article ship Trainning.

I made a mistake while remitting TDS for my bank branch. Entered the TDS amount Rs.15000 and again by mistake i entered Rs.15000 in interest field as a result of which my account was debited twice while actually i was supposed to pay only Rs. 15000.
Kindly guide on how to get refund? Whom do i approach?
