Senior Account (VA Client Operations)

Job Description

Karbon is a YC-backed fintech scaling our Virtual Accountant (VA) product. We need a Senior Accountant to independently manage end-to-end finance operations for a portfolio of fast-growing startups and SMEs.

You will be the primary point of contact for these clients, maintaining their books in Tally, ensuring statutory compliance (GST/TDS), and delivering monthly MIS. We are looking for someone with 3-6 years of experience (CA articleship counts) who communicates clearly and can operate with minimal supervision.

Skills Required

1. Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and month-end closures
2. Execute all GST and TDS compliance, filings, and reconciliations
3. Prepare monthly MIS reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
4. Act as the primary point of contact for client communications and queries
5. Review and guide the daily work of junior accounting associates
