The payment of bonus Act

The payment of bonus Act is applicable to 1)every factory and 2) every other establishments where 20 or more persons are employed.. Whether the restriction of 20 employees are applicable to factories also? in other words, if 15 employees are working in a factory, whether The payment of bonus Act is applicable to that factory??

Special General Meeting of Public Trust

XYZ, a Public Trust, registered under the relevant statute, convenes a Special General Meeting of its members on 16th August, 2010 to consider certain items as per the Agenda. All the items of the Agenda could not be deliberated due to paucity of time and the President adjourns the meeting sine-die without declaring the venue, date and time of the next meeting.

Question 1: Is it necessary/ mandatory for the President to state the date,time and venue for the next meeting?

Question 2: Can the Trust allow new members (other than who had attended the meeting dated 16th August, 2010) to attend the reconvened meeting?

Please quote the relevant Statutory Provision under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.

Bonus act

Suppose an employee get salary of Rs. 8500/- p.m
on what amount bonus will be calculated
on 8500/- or
on 3500/-
..???

and what will be the case if the employee get Rs. 2500/-p.m as salary
Bonus will be calculated on
2500/-
or
3500/-
..???

Filing F-25C

The Remuneration of a Director is subsequently increased in the AGM. The remuneration is well within Sch XIII of the Company's Act,1956. should Form 25C be filed and are there any other form/s also to be filed? please answer this query and also validate your answer by giving references

Applicability of ESI & EPF

Hello everyone,, happy independence day,,

My Question is :

I need suggestion on deduction of PF from contract labour payments.

Our company used to get contract labour services (Below 20 employees) from third party i.e. labour contractor. we had accounted their payment directly to contract labour A/C. There is no break up for these payment and paid consoldated amount. but total no. of employees including these contracted labours exceeds 20 employees in company.

please suggest me ..
whether company is liable to comply with provisions of ESI and PF for these contracted labour or not??
