26 September 2012 This month we have raised one bill to our customer & we received one bill fro our vendor details as below
Raised to customer (A);-
service Tax Basic 100000
12% 12000
2% 240
1% 120
Received from Vendor (B) :-

service Tax Basic 50000
12% 6000
2% 120
1% 60
My Question :- as per new service tax rule how munch to pay the service tax & How much take a input credit pls explain anybody

Here in given example:
Your total liability : Rs.12360.00
Pay by CENVAT Credit : Rs. 6180.00
Pay in Cash : Rs. 6180.00

CENVAT : Amount would be equal to ST amount paid on the Services received as input services. Herein given case Rs. 6180.00
