Dear All,

We have finalised our annual accounts as per the Calender year i.e. Jan to Dec 11 and now finalising financials for the Tax Year 2011-12 (April to March 12).

For Calender year, we have prepared our accounts as per old schedule VI but for tax year which schedule to be followed?

a. Revised schedule VI is applicable from when?
b. Is is applicable for the Tax year and Tax financials.

Dear Sir,
Ours is an Pvt Ltd Co based in Karnataka.
With recent amendment to IT Act directors remuneration is classified as Profession and TDS u/s 194J is applicable.
Now in this scenario we must book the amount paid to directors as remuneration to Professional Charges.

Now the following situations arise:
1)Whether we should deduct Profession tax under Karnataka Professions Act?
2)Whether service tax is applicable?

Kindly clarify the above.

I am a ca final student. I have cleared my ca final group 1. My group 2 exams are in Nov 12.I want to pursue for investment banking.

Can anyone please tell me the following details about it.
1) Which institution is best for it?
2) What is the duration of course?
3) Is there any scope for cas in it?
4) Shall i start it after giving my exams in nov 12?
5) Any other opinion u would like to give me.

I get my stipend after a gap of 3-4 months by cheque or cash i.e.there is a lag of 3-4 months.Does it effect my articleship by any way..??

I am ashutosh aggarwal i had clear my 1st year from b.com(h) and cleared my cpt and had to appear for my inter in coming november
but as CA course with no seurity so i had given law entrance and cleared so can we do ballb instead of b.com along with CA or B.com is compulsory with CA

If I want to reset password of an assessee whose left his previous C.A. and came to me for getting efiled his Income Tax return...hw can I do it....bcoz I dnt have any of the information required by the forgot password utility on Incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in?
