TDS on rental charges pay to GMB

sir,
we are paying to Gujarat Maritime Board for rental charges towards provided open space using stocking for containers.They also charge service tax on their bill.
Should be deduct TDS from the payment to GMB.
what are compliances in this matter.
Kindly guide me.

Hello Vinay,
Rent as per Section 194I means any payment, by whatever name called, under any lease, sub-lease, tenancy or any other agreement or arrangement for the use of (either separately or together) any,—
(a) land;
Advice :
conidering above definition, I think u r case fall in "ANY OTHER AGREEMENT OR ARRANGEMENT FOR THE USE" OF LAND or as the case may be and accordingly, u will be required to deduct tds.
