17 March 2010 NO. IT IS NOT COMPULSORY. EMPLOYEES ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT FORM 12B SHOWING DETAILS OF SALARY DUE/RECEIVED BY HIS FROM OTHER EMPLOYER AND WHETHER ANY TDS ON SALARIES IS DEDUCTED. IF THEY DONT PROVIDE THE FORM 12B EMPLOYER HAVE TO CALCULATE TDS AS USUAL.
