While depositinig the amount of TDS for the month of June 09 we deposited Rs.1541 extra than deducted. I want to know can the amount be adjusted and how the amount will be shown in the TDS return of Ist Qtr.

Hi,
You can show the extra deduction in your TDS return. It is not necessary that it should match with the rates of TDS, in TDS return. You can deduct extra tax and can show in your quarterly return. The deductee will take the credit of such extra TDS.
