Account Assistant

Job Description

Accounting & Bookkeeping: Record day-to-day client financial transactions, vouchers, and journal entries in Tally Prime.
Tax Filing Support: Prepare computation data and assist in filing monthly/quarterly GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and Income Tax Returns (ITR).
Software Operations: Efficiently use Winman Software (Winman CA-ERP / Winman GST) for direct tax calculations, ledger imports, and generating balance sheets.
Notice Assistance: Help compile necessary accounting documents, ledger printouts, and verification proofs required for drafting replies to GST and Income Tax notices.
Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify input tax credit (ITC) matching using Tally and Winman portals.
Audit Assistance: Help the team gather necessary accounting books, ledgers, and supporting documents during statutory and tax audits.

Skills Required

Core Software Expertise: Hands-on operational knowledge of Tally Prime and Winman CA-ERP software is highly preferred.
Taxation Knowledge: Strong basic understanding of Indian tax laws regarding GST, Income Tax, and TDS.
Notice Handling: Basic understanding of how to compile details and organize case files when a tax department notice is received.
