A person was deputed for 5 years to US by his company and due to which he has a savings account in US but however there are no transactions in that account since last 5-6 years since that person is residing in India.
Also during deputation he status was non-resident in India.
He has mentioned this account in his income tax returns recently.. is he still required to fill form 6 ???

As it is disclosed in income tax return no need to fill form 6.
