Service tax applicability on import of readymade software

we are importing the readymade software through Internet since 2008-09 onwards.

my query is whether service Tax applicable under Import of Services on the same or not ?

Please advise.

19 December 2013 yes under reverse charge mechansim you are liable to pay service tax.
