I hv received a draft from income tax dept regarding refund but the amt of refund(including interest on refund u/s 244A is less then the amt calculated by us ,What should i do to get the calculation details of refund by dept???and plz also tell me the latest rate of interest u/s 244A.

22 February 2013 You need to compare each line item of the calculation done by Income Tax department with your return.

You would get a intimation regarding the calculation from the department.

22 February 2013 sir we hv receivd a notice of demand along with a income tax computation form,but it has contained only income tax calculation in which they hv taken refund amt differ from us..
