My client's self assessment tax was not credited by the department. So we got intimation form the dept. After that I rectified the return online . The return was rectified more than a month ago. But the status in the Income Tax site is still shown as submitted only. How long does it take a rectification to be processed???
I had phoned the CPC to ask about the status but they are not providing any answer regarding the time limit.
