Sir I am conderned regarding the Registration process and the fillingup of Form I & II as required by Ap commercial act. Where to submit these documents? As the fee as in the Act is only Rs.110. where as one of our consultant is asking that Rs.3500. As he is arguing that "some bribe is to be given to some of the authorities for ease and fast registration otherwise it will not be possible to get the registration"... Please help me in this regard....
**a. **Eligibility:** - All businesses and employers in Andhra Pradesh must register for Profession Tax if they have employees earning a salary.
**b. **Documents Required:** - **Certificate of Incorporation** of the company. - **PAN Card** of the company. - **Proof of Address** of the business. - **List of Directors** and **Company’s Constitution** (MOA/AOA).
### **2. **Registration Process:**
**a. **Filling Forms:** - **Form I**: Application for Profession Tax Registration. - **Form II**: Application for Certificate of Enrolment.
**b. **Submission:** - Submit these forms to the local **Commercial Tax Department** office or online through the Andhra Pradesh GST portal.
### **3. **Fees:** - The registration fee is typically around Rs. 110, as per the Andhra Pradesh Commercial Tax Act. Ensure you check the latest fee structure on the official website or with the tax authorities.
### **4. **Avoiding Extra Charges:** - **Official Fees**: Rs. 110 is the official fee for PT registration. Avoid paying extra amounts or “bribes” to consultants or officials. - **Consultants' Fees**: It is normal for consultants to charge fees for their services, but they should not be asking for extra amounts beyond the official fee. Ensure you get a clear breakdown of their charges.
### **5. **Online Portal:** - Check if Andhra Pradesh has an online portal for PT registration. This might simplify the process and reduce the need for intermediaries.
### **6. **Contact Authorities:** - For accurate and up-to-date information, contact the local **Commercial Tax Department** or visit their office. - Verify all information and avoid unofficial channels to ensure you’re not misled or overcharged.
### **Resources:** - **Andhra Pradesh Commercial Taxes Department**: [Official Website](https://www.apct.gov.in/) - **Online Services**: Look for online registration services if available on the official portal.
**Conclusion:** Register your company by following the official procedure and avoid paying any extra amounts beyond the official registration fee. Always use official channels for registration and compliance.
