Dear Sir, Suppose there are 10 entries of Rs. 1000/- each in the form 26AS. Out of 10 entries, 8 entries are with ( f )final, means that Rs. 8000/- are final and remain 2 entries are showing with(U) unmatched status, means Rs. 2000/- are unmatched. In my view, cpc should atleast give tds credit of Rs. 8000/- during the processing of return or mere 2 unmatched will entitle the cpc to make whole tds credit as zero.
What is your opinion in this regard? Thanks and regards.

Many a times it so happens that the view as seen through login of assessing officer is entirely different than what we civilians get. This is a very serious mistake. God Bless is the only condition we have.

Actually, same has happened in one of my client case. Even in re-rectification, cpc processed it with nil tds credit. I have sent copy of form 26as via fax on the number told by cpc helpline, even I have e-mailed on id told by cpc helpline. I unable to understand, what I can do now. Can you get me contact no. of any superior authoity at CPC.

Not possible. They are deaf and dumb people. We need to do some thing on this collectively or through some association. I tried one through RTI act, but stake was high, so i could follow up. But for 10k or around, we can not go by RTI by devoting our valuable time.
