11 December 2012 what is the procedure to claim refund of tax for last three previous year if the person has not filed his return for any previous year. such person is an agent in the insurance company.

12 December 2012 Now he can file the return for the financial years 2010-11 and 2011-12. Earlier one i.e. 2009-10 can not be filed. File the return and ask for the refund.

12 December 2012 if the total income of such person exceed the maximum exemption limit before deduction under section 80c to80c....... will he have to pay interest under section 234 ana any penality of 5000... can he file his return mannually? which form he should use?

12 December 2012 Yes, he can file the return manually. Interest is not required to be paid. ITR 1 if the income is shown as income from other sources OR ITR 4 if income is shown under business. The choice is with the assessee.
