A Partnership Firm in existance since 1981 has factory premises to conduct its business. During last couple of years, due to economic downturn and competition, the Firm has not received orders and hence the partners decided to 'let out' the factory premises.

During the year, only 'Leave and License fees' where earned plus interest on FD of the Firm.

Respected Sir, I am in my second year of articleship. I have taken transfer from my first firm as on 30-April-2013(till then i had completed 20 months of articleship in my first firm) & got approval from the Institute. I had started my second term of articleship in another firm as on 1-May-2013. Yet, I have not re registered for the second time as I was waiting for the institute's approval. Two days ago in written I have received the approval from the honorary Institute. But I am worried what I would do if they asked for the xerox copy of Form 102.

An individual sold his self use residential property and invested the entire sale consideration to immediately buy another self use residential property. Under common sense understanding of not gaining any monetary benefits from the transaction (ie no surplus saved/ gained), he failed to report the transaction in his ITR.

As the case has been selected for scrutiny assessment, what can be the likely implications (time limit for revised return is over).
