I am doing CA final, my query was whether i can use scientific calculator? if no, whether i can use log table for calculations. if i use log table can i get a marks?

I heard that there is notification that the one transfer is allowed in same city without any reason. is this right ?

Can any one just tell me that can we get examtion from income tax under section 80C if we makes a fixed deposits in syndicate. is there any restriction is applicable for examtion.

Service Tax

Dear Sir / Madam,

if private limited company paying transport / freight to transporter , same amount is more than 10 lacs in year. is it applicable to pay service tax on trasport service.
