Can any one just tell me that can we get examtion from income tax under section 80C if we makes a fixed deposits in syndicate. is there any restriction is applicable for examtion.

If the amount deposited is as per 'Bank term deposit Scheme,2006' 80C exemption can be availed.

The bank pepole will mention that in Deposit receipt or how can we know that.
