Myself Tej, I am CA-PCC student and I have given my first attempt in Nov-2008, my queries are:-
1) How many attempts a PCC student can give?
2) I have given three attempts till now i.e., in Nov-08, may-09 & Nov-09, and have not given may-10 attempt, nor willing to give Nov-10 CA-PCE (same not registered), do I have to register again for giving may-2011 attempt as one of my friend said that a student can only give five attempts and in default my five attempts are completed. Is he correct?

Please Help me out I am in trouble and I urgently need to know above ones to continue CA Studies.

i have passed CPT and i will b appearing for IPCC next year and i am 25 years of age and have completed MBA . I am now working in MNC. Will the age matters for the placement of CA students, suppose i complete the CA by 28 years of age. PLease help

Hiii all

I am CA final student having my attempt in Nov'11. I want to study accountancy myself and i am also good at subject. My problem is regarding topics other than AS.

I have bought MPV, and started reading from it, understood all concepts very clearly but we all know in CA-final, everytime we get different type of question with slight change in concept.

At first i see question, try to figure out solution and solve in copy, succeed partially everytime but never completely. If again same kind of question appears then till long i remember the past one, i could solve little more than previous one. I plan to go this way & after finishing one time, revise question again quickly by overview, and then pick up unsolved scanner and solve it out.

My question is that this approach is alright or complete wastage of time.

I have to give ipcc nov 2011 attempt though I cleared cpt in June 2010 & I am also doing b.com.
I am thinking of doing orientation prog. in November 2010 & IT training in December 2010 & do the coaching thereafter at CA institute (for 3 months )
& I wanted your suggestions that whether all that i mentioned above would work well or not.
I also have confusion that whether I should join for coaching in January '11 or after march when my b.com exams would be over.

Can someone guide me as to the best course in IFRS which covers maximum topics, provides practical cases, is economical and also globally recognised. The one offered by the Institute appears too costly for me. If anyone has done any course from other training institutes and have found it good, please let me know.
