One of my clients is a HUF proprietory concern. The elder karta expired before few days. In one bank the account (co-operative) the name of new Karta was taken on records without any hitch and he is able to operate the HUF account. But in one other bank (private sector),the (HUF) proprietory concern has bank loan. The bank is not ready to change the name that smoothly and asking to execute all new documents for the loan. HUF is undying entity and only karta changes. How can I convince the bank that no execution of new documents is necessary. Please note that the documents are not registered with any government authority as it is not necessary.

There is a dispute between Govt Department and Contractor accordingly , We(Contractor) have filled a Arbitration pettion to High Court and H.C. appointed a seprate Arbitrator. My question is : If the decision by Arbitrator is passed in favour of contractor then Govt to whom will make a appeal ? or if the decision is passed in favour of Govt then we (Contractor) to whom will make a appeal. Hi, I had a small query, Im a ca pcc student and i came across a case but Im not able to justify it. Can you help me with it..?? IT goes like this X bought a property from Y. Y bought this property from Z with due consideration but later brothers of Z filed a case against the property holder that is X sayin that it was a HUF bought by their parents together. X further investigates and finds that the property was sold by the government to an individual i.e. Z's Father on lease and not to any HUF. But sons(SS) of real brothers(BB) of z's father claim interest in the property saying that BB invested money in it eventhough they dont have a proof on the same. QUERIES What is sale now ...of a Huf OR an Ind Will X get a holder in due course benefit can SS file a case against X Please respond as soon as possible or refer me the book where i can find its answers and incase you reply do mention the sections thereof

I want to know whether if the person having HUF status if he died then is there automatic transfer of HUF status to his elder son or his wife after his death?

And if now his son want to buy flat in the name of his fathers HUF then is it possible? if possible then who will sign the deal? please suggest the right way.

I am having a CA office in a residential house taken on rent. The municiple authorities are objecting it as residential place used for commercial purpose. Is CA office place can be classified as commercial or residential for the purpose of electricity, water, municiple tax and shops and establishment act?
