12 July 2008 I agree with Mr Srinivasaraghavan. However, in case the deed is not registered, you can execute a fresh deed on the same terms and conditions by giving a reference to the facts that it is a deed executed in the lieu of the original deed lost and the term of deed will also remain the same.
