Dear all here is a case...

Mr.X started his CA career. Went to article-ship. Mr.X article term is 2007-2010.
Mr. X during article itself passed CA Final in 2009 (still one year of Article is left)

1. Last one year he continues in same firm as Article (or)
2. Last one year he Mr.X goes for Industrial Training

Clarification Seeked:

a. When is Mr.X said to be obtained his Qualification
b. When is he called Qualified CA.
c. can post 2009 work be considered as post qualification experience
d. can Industrial Training considered as experience.
e. if answer to (d) is yes why not (c) also. Does that mean firms dont provide experience for one who is cleared CA final, (however if one doesn't clear CA Final until articleship and goes to industry for work and later clears in more than one attempt CA Final, it is considered as experience when he goes to shift job).
Should ICAI consider this as experience who cleared CA final still a year left in article.?

Dear all,

i see that most of the firms esp Big4 employs B.com graduates (cost benefit) to do Internal Audit for companies (MNC/Listed/etc. They also do have CA's.

I understand that Statutory Audit needs to be conducted only by a qualified CA. Why not this is applicable for Internal Audit conducted.

Being a B.com they lack competence and skills these remain unknown to clients and presume they are CA aswell.

Should ICAI come up with a regulation or stating who is certified to be called as Internal Auditor first of all and the qualification one requires.?

Also if Internal Audit can be executed by anyone like Graduates / MBA then why become a CA...?

I need suggestion as to how this can be taken forward.

Can anyone please tell me if there is any University/Open University offering LLB Course through Correspondence medium (Distant Learning)& what is the eligibility criteria for the same?
Also, if there is any such provision, whether practice of the Law Profession is allowed after qualifying the exams, if any, conducted by such University/Open University?

I have recently cleared my ipcc with 441marks and now i intend to do my articleship from any of The big4 firms.Can you please advice me regarding the procedure for applying to such firms and further i am in my b.com(h) 3rd DU do i leave my college or do i postpone my articleship for a year and if i postpone it do i lose the eligibility to apply in Big4.
