11 August 2011 Dear all here is a case...

Mr.X started his CA career. Went to article-ship. Mr.X article term is 2007-2010.
Mr. X during article itself passed CA Final in 2009 (still one year of Article is left)

1. Last one year he continues in same firm as Article (or)
2. Last one year he Mr.X goes for Industrial Training

Clarification Seeked:

a. When is Mr.X said to be obtained his Qualification
b. When is he called Qualified CA.
c. can post 2009 work be considered as post qualification experience
d. can Industrial Training considered as experience.
e. if answer to (d) is yes why not (c) also. Does that mean firms dont provide experience for one who is cleared CA final, (however if one doesn't clear CA Final until articleship and goes to industry for work and later clears in more than one attempt CA Final, it is considered as experience when he goes to shift job).
Should ICAI consider this as experience who cleared CA final still a year left in article.?

11 August 2011 C. Absolutely not.

D. Yes it is experience but in the same manner as articleship is an experience.

E. There is no official experience or inexperience, when you go to give an interview or make your resume then you can keep the industrial training in your experience coloumn. It depends on the person how to perceive it.
