What is the slab rate for professional tax for the state of maharashtra.

I want to start business in Farming as in buy from farmers and sell it to wholesalers. Do i need to get some registration done for this? also i would like to know how the bills are prepared because farmers wont be giving bills so how should i prepare it. please help

If I receive a cheque in which no parallel lines are drawn but the cheque is not 'Self' cheque (i.e a name is mentioned).My questions are :-
(a) Can cash withdrawal be possible with this cheque?
(b) can this cheque be drawn by person other than person named in the cheque?

I have been given one day extension for extra leave during my articleship tenure. My articleship was supposed to complete on 26th Feb 2014. But I mentioned it to be complete on 25th Feb 2014. Now as on today (16th June 2014)I have not completed the one day extension period. So I want to know the applicable forms to be filled in (107/ 102 and 103). Is it treated as break in service? Can it be completed under another principal? Waiting for earliest reply.

hiee sir, I m in second year of my articleship I want to know if I take secondment then will I be counted in the list of maximum 10 articles which can be employed by the one partner because my principal does not want to block my seat and so he is telling me to take transfer which is not allowed as per institute in second year
