In a cell ythe date was keyedin as 19500803 - how to convert this date to 03-08-1950 please answer me

An Export Oriented Unit have an imported a lab equipment of foreign origin. It has developed some defects and there are no service Centre in India to rectify such defects. Hence, they have Re-exported the defective equipment to the Service Centre of the manufacturer at Germany for Repair and to return. Now the Service Centre in Germany has given an estimate of Euro 600 for PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION SERVICE on that equipment. Here are my doubts:
1. Should there be a deduction of TDS i.e. withhold tax' on such charges?
2. If so what is the percentage?
3. Is there any way to avoid it or reduce the TDS %?

Dear Sir,

I would like to ask you that if a person or a company are planing to purchase some product (personalise metal business visiting card) from abroad like china and finalise the payments through bank, so is there any custom duty on it which they have to pay at time of items reached in india to release them.

Please help in this regard.

Is it Right Or Cheque has in name Of Chetna Shah Only
Because In Pan Card there Mention Name Of Pravin K Shah
So Nominee has Change Name in Pan Card Or Sbi Has Made A wrong Cheque

we had got TAN no last month but we made payment of courier charges from month of April 14 so can we deduct TDS of Previous payment

I got an exemption in tax in May 14 ipcc. It does not say so on my admit card but? Do I have to appear on the day of tax exam to sign or something? Or as I am giving the first group only.. Just appear for accounts law and cafm? Please reply fast. Really in need of help
