Profit earned by films producers

06 November 2014 i just wanted to ask that how profit of any film is computed after its release and how profit earned by film comes back to its producer? Please explain in detail..!!!

06 November 2014 The producer sales the rights. These rights are purchased by the distributors. Revenue Recognition is done as per AS. What else you want? Pls go ahead.

11 November 2014 The PRODUCER of the film incurs all the expenditure to produce the FILM. The distributors purchase the distribution rights from the producer. Now what else you want... ask one by one.
