In the earlier balance sheets trust has not claimed depreciation

Is it mandatory to claim deprecition.

If not claimed - how does IT dept considers it

If we have to charge depreciation for 2013-14 - should we go back to earlier years and charge depreciation from begining or with a qualification we can claim for 2013-14

Speciman qualifications / notes on accounts requested

An employee of a company is engaged in the state of A. The head office of the company is in state B and the payroll is prepared in the state B and credited to the bank a/c of the employee engaged in state A. The head office deducts the professional tax from the salary of the said employee.

Please inform which state A or B should get the professional tax and why ?

In my opinion, state A should get it because the employment is in state A and the person is providing service in state A.

I am filing form for inclusion of the company name for imparting Industrial training in EIRC of ICAI. There is an option in the form asking for address of Corporate Office. I am having doubt regarding this bcz the Company's Head Office is in Mumbai and Kolkata is only its Branch Office. So, here I should mention Mumbai address or Kolkata address? but as I want to empanel the company in EIRC so what address I should mention in that field?

Please clarify my doubt by giving your valuable opinions.

Good morning sir, my name is mahesh babu doing CA articleship along with b.com (A&F) in IGNOU. I would like to know how % is going to be declared in b.com (a &f) final result. I have lot of confusion that, some body are saying that ignou % is going to be calculated in consideration of CPT, IPCC marks. IS IT CORRECT? plz explain with a small example.
like cpt - 54%
ipcc - 50%
and finally i would like to get 60% in over all degree, then what % i need to get in ignou?

I have a query regarding voting through electronic means.
Say a company has paid up capital of rs. 40 Crore. A company is proposed to convene a AGM & one of its major shareholder residing in abroad.
1. Can company give notice of AGM through mail?
2. Can a shareholder cast his vote through mail? Kindly share your views.
