I am doing financial analysis of a cooperative society. there are many funds i.e. donated special purpose funds. How do i treat them while calculating different ratios
do they come in equity? if i have to comment about sustainability should i treat these like long term debt? Please help me. also there is some interest subsidy. Actual Interest rate for a loan is 10% but the funder is taking 8% and remaining 2% is transfered to some development fund. How do i treat these. Please help me

in my office there are approx 20 employee. we starte a fund called staff welfare fund. we collectedd some amount from each staff, given the amount as loan to staff on need, charged some interest, and so on, by this process we gathered approx 20 lakh rupees now. The same deposited in the account, bank wants to give the interest and require the PAN, For pan requirement i need to first get some registration some where, i want to know how to make a thrift and credit society, whether it come in it, or to register as AOP, or BOI Or mutual association, i want some clarification and procedure.

Eg:- I m running a propreitorship firm with name 'XYZ' then anyone else can also make his firm with same name and can enjoy the repo of my name.

I just want to knw hw can make this name safe frm others. Is there any registration required for this?

A private limited co. has taken a term loan of Rs. 50 lacs and c/c limit of Rs. 1 crore from a bank on 29 july, 2008. It has to file Form 8 with the ROC with 30 days i.e. upto 28 august, 2009.
But on the MCA site, it is being displayed that scheduled version of e-forms has been postponed.
Now I want to know whether i should file the from 8 now or should I wait for the new form.
Also I want to know What attachment is to be attached with the form. Is it the form named "letter regarding the grant of ndividual limits within the overall limit" with the bank.Scanned copy of this form is to be attached or some other document is to be attached.
Also I want to know whether any other form in addition to form 8 is to be filed for creation of charge

Kumar and I am from Rewari(Haryana) India and my query is this that we are few friends and doing some social activity in our village and surrounding so what we should do regarding this should we create club or Trust or Society or NGO. Is there any technical difference between a merchant bank and an investment bank firm? Can these two words be used interchangably?

Dear Sir,

I have qualified my CA in May 1997. My M.no. is 206949. I was working with ING Vysya Bank Ltd. from December 1997. Recently I resigned and started my own practice. I applied for COP.

Please clarify whether I can be called an FCA as I worked in Banking Industry post qualifying. If yes, please give the procedure for applying for FCA.
