Suppose
EMI amount is 2000/month
Duration is 5 years

Then how to calculate PV of these EMIs

Generally, one wants to know what is the EMI for a particular amount of loan with details of rate of interest and duration.

27 September 2008 You have a present value calculation facility in the excel. All you have to do is list the instalments monthwise and apply the formula.

such as Present value is calculated on yerly basis,
what is the basis to calculate PV of Monthly Payments

28 September 2008 Add up the present value of each monthly payment using the present value formula in MS Excel annually and you will get the aggregate present value.
