Kindly let me know the following points:
1. If a Chartered Accountants proprietory firm wants to open it Branch Office beyond 50 kms from the H.O. then the person (C.A.)who will look after the Br.can hold the C.O.P.
2. Whether he can practice in his own name in that place in addition to look after the Br.

Regard.

Resignation from partnership firm

Two partners ( A & B) has started New Partnership Firm in 2010. B of the partner now learns that A is already charged to Criminal Laws. Whats are the options available with B?
1. Resignation from Partnership ? Whether mere resignation from partnership will allow B to escape from Liabilities of Partnership, if any?
2. If B resigns, and A does not approve, still whether B can stop working from firm?

Please guide urgently with best way to deal this situation
