I am working in a manufacturing unit. we claim 1% CST against c form for the product we manufacture. and we are claiming 1% against c form for scrap sales also. Plz. clarify whether it is correct and also tell me about this.

normally CST is 2% against C form, however check your state vat site for correct rates.

It is taken for granted that CST must be 2%. It can differ from state to state or for specific products.
