Tds deduction from salary

11 December 2012 Hi All,

i need to deduct TDS from salary of Employees. i have confusion like, should i consider the Net salary or Gross Salary for calculating the TDS. can anybody please tell me in details that , how can i calculate TDS on Salary as per the current IT slab rate???

You should deduct TDS on Gross Salary & there is certain exemption from Gross Salary.
