Tds

This query is : Resolved

10 October 2013 Can we deduct TDS at the end of the year avoiding section 192...is it possible

10 October 2013 As per the provisions, it need to deduct TDS monthly instalment, so deducting on year end, it will be non compliance

10 October 2013 Not a good practice to adopt anyways. Further, even if you deduct at year end, it doesn't change the incidence of deductibility. Accordingly you shall be liable to pay interest for delayed deduction and consequently for delayed deposit with govt.

10 October 2013 Agree with Experts,
Its better to follow the simple procedure than to go for tedious one..
In this way you will have to face penalties and Interest..

11 October 2013 thanx expert
