Taxation for nri's

This query is : Resolved

01 July 2015 Hello, kindly advice me if I need to file ITR with the following details- I left India for employment purpose on February 10th in 2014 and came back on January 3rd 2015 and went again on 31th January 2015. I received all my salaries (around 14lakh) in a saving account in India(not NRI account). I have never filled ITR. Apart from the salary I received allowances and bonus but not in India or Indian bank. Thanks and regards.

01 July 2015 For the year 2013-14 your income is taxable in India. For 2014-15 you are NRI and your income earned out side India is not taxable in India, despite a portion is credited in India. Change your savings ac as NRO ac.
