My employers remit part of my emoluments directly to my NRI a/c in an Indian Bank. Part is paid as local salary on which they deduct income tax as per the rules of the country (Nigeria) where I am working. My query is :
(a) Will the income remitted in NRI a/c be taxed by Indian authorities once I come back and the NRI a/c is converted to normal Savings a/c.

No it will not be taxed when you return to India. You earned the salary income as non resident.
