17 September 2013 i am sale agent will have an commission income of 28 lac in f.y 2013-14 from one ltd co. i want to get commission 9.50 each in my name & my wife & rest in the name of my son, to put away of service tax registration bcz in this case each assessee wil have commission less than of Rs. 10 lac --my querry is it validate or any problem

17 September 2013 yes. as per the act it is valid. you have to run the business in separate names and get registered separately

18 September 2013 as per you sir get registration separately but i also do not want to registration for service tax registration as every assess has income less than l0 lac even in less than 10 lac no need to register in s.t

18 September 2013 when the sales is exceeding Rs.9 lakhs, then registration is mandatory, only charging service tax only when exceeds Rs.10 lakhs. so registration is required for sales exceeding Rs.9 lakhs
