Whether service tax is chargeable on scaffolding material given on rent and if yes, it is covered under which service??

25 June 2009 No however the same couldbe liable for VAT as right to use goods.

If the scaffolding materials are not given over to the customer and the same are in the possession and control of the supplier ( in case he is doing the construction work himself) then the same would be liable under supply of tangible goods
