01 July 2011 what is law means in respect of Expenditure. what is the difference between Payment and Expenditure in law of Sec 40A(3).Limit of 20000 is in respect of expenditure or Payment in respect of expenditure. Please clarify

Sec. 40A(3) deals with payment, an Expenditure might me more than Rs.20000 but its payment should be split in two or three times (i-e below Rs.20000)

01 July 2011 you can pay only in a day up to 20000/= for any expenditure. not may time in a day.

in case of transporter you can pay up to 35000/= in a single G.R./Bill
