Outstanding tax demand

there is outstanding tax demand for a.y 2011-12 which I paid on 14th july 2014 but still income tax site showing the same demand pending. what should I do know ?? plz help me out of this

Write a letter to the Assessing Officer of your Jurisdiction stating the facts and enclosing a copy of the challan.
