When a new TAN application for a partnership firm is submitted online and digitally signed using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), no physical documents or acknowledgment slips need to be submitted or couriered to Protean (NSDL)/UTIITSL. The process is completely paperless.
However, ensure you have the firm's PAN card and the exact details from the Partnership Deed handy to accurately fill out Form 49B online before signing it with the authorized partner's DSC.
