Mr.Arif retired from service after serving for 12years and encashed leave of 15 months to his credit at rs.60000. as per the rules of employment he was eligible for 60 days leave per year of completed service and he was drawing rs.4000 pm.as salary throughout the period of 10 months before retirement. determine taxable amount if leave salary.
how to calculate
09 April 2015
10 months average salary is exempted, which amount to Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 20,000 is taxable.
