my client has two pan and income tax return was submitted by using one pan card number regularly and another pan card number was unusable i.e not used.
But another pan card number used to file income tax return from last year i.e. assessment year 2014-15 then occur mismatch in tds and self assessment tax and notice of income tax department has been issued in this regarding to client.
so, what steps to be taken at present

File belated return for correct PAN No. and file revised return with zero income for the wrong PAN No. Surrender the invalid PAN.
