Gst tax on advocates fees

21 November 2017 Dear SirMadam,
We taked legal service from advocate (Karnataka states) and he send bill to us (Mumbai) Rs.100000/- without any GST Charged. We have paid Rs.90000/- after deduction of TDS.
But advocate firm are Registerd under GST and he mention the GSTIN on his Bill.
And also mention in his bill - GST as appliable is payable by the service receiver on reverse charge Mechanism.
The firm want to charged GST on his bill but why not charged .
The firm is registered under the GST Act.
The GST Tax is appliable - IGST- @18% - this is correct or wrong

Please advise in above matters as earliest.

21 November 2017 As per GST provisions GST for Advocate service is payable under RCM. IGST under RCM is payable at 18%.

21 November 2017 The advocate service under sec 9(3) of CGST / SGST and Sec 5(3) of IGST act. These sections are applicable RCM to recipient hands... So, As above said way "The advocate fee related GST payable by Service Receiver. You ll pay Tax under RCM basis in IGST"...
