we manufactured a product i.e. CHALK POWDER by mixing MARBLE WEST SLURRY(80%), MULTANI MITTI(10%) & CHAINA CLAY (10%).
so please tell to us that such product will be exempt or not ?

If you are talking about excise duty then it will be chargeable to excise duty if the product is listed in the tariff schedule of excise.
As per my knowledge, most of the commercially known product are chargeable to excise duty.
So, you need to see whether your product is mentioned in the tariff schedule, then it would chargable to duty.
The rate of exxcise duty at present is 12.36% without any exemption.
