08 July 2013 Can a private Limited company be formed under educational institution? (In other words, can an educational institution own a private limited company?)

If yes, Can the directors or any other person of the donor company be a director in the company owned by educational institution.

For this you will registered section 25 company (non-profit organisation) or society for running and maintaining educational institute.

09 July 2013 That means under the educational institution only non profit making company can be opened? Profit Making company cannot be opened under an educational institution.

And what about the directors part?

09 July 2013 As per my knowledge section 25 company is registered for promotion of education.

But you can not make an object of business to open educational Institute for business promotion.
