07 October 2016 A partnership firm has 2 partners with A and B as partners. A died on 26/08/16.
How do i file the vat return for second quarter of 2016-17?
What about the transaction after the death ?how do I file the return for the period after death?
What procedure is to be followed ?

10 October 2016 Dear Anonymous, Here a basic understanding is to be considered before going ahead. In case of 2 partners, death of one partner will lead to dissolution of partnership firm. you were not supposed to raise bills after the dissolution of the firm. I'd recommend taking up a new registration in your name as proprietor and raise differential bills in that firm. as for partnership firm cancel the certificate of no refunds are due
