I wanted to know that wheather Credit of Service tax on other Services is allowable to set off against Excise Payments from the F.Y.2011-12?

13 April 2011 Yes credit of ST can be utilised aginast CED. The cenvat credit rules have undergone some changes wherein the eligibility maybe confirmed before going forward. Some restrictions have been inserted.
