I wanted to know that wheather Credit of Service tax on other Services is allowable to set off against Excise Payments from the F.Y.2011-12?

Yes credit of ST can be utilised aginast CED. The cenvat credit rules have undergone some changes wherein the eligibility maybe confirmed before going forward. Some restrictions have been inserted.
